Today India vs South Africa 1st ODI Live Score: Toss Delayed Due To Rain In Dharamshala


The toss between India and South Africa has been delayed due to wet conditions in Dharamsala, with rain threatening to affect the first ODI between the two teams. Back on home ground and the match has been delayed due to rain. First the toss was delayed due to wet outfield as Dharamsala has got a lot of rain in the last few days. India, boosted by the returns of Hardik Pandya, Shikhar Dhawan and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, will be looking to put the nightmares of the New Zealand tour behind them as they gear up to face South Africa in the first One-day International (ODI) of the three-match series at Dharamsala today. 

But now the weather will have a say. India-South Africa on tenterhooks for this short series. There is another cloud, of coronavirus, and there remains a question if the series will go ahead after today. 


In the meantime, nothing happening here albeit lot of questions over Indian selection. 

However, the trio might have to wait for their international return as weather is expected to play spoilsport. Bad news coming in. The rain has gained speed and the entire field is covered currently. According to weather reports, heavy rain is predicted for the match day. 

The return of Shikhar Dhawan and Hardik Pandya make India favourites going into the series but the hosts cannot afford to take South Africa lightly. 

We are hearing that the rain is back. Light drizzle only but enough to disturb the 1:15 pm inspection.
